Pea protein has essential and non-essential amino acids, including many branched chain (BCAA) acids, as well as arginine and lysine. Pea protein also contains iron. The taste and smell are neutral and the powder is light yellow in color. The daily iron requirement is covered by just under a third with just one serving.
