The sweetness of the BIO erythritol corresponds to about 70% of the sweetening power of sugar. Erythritol is a virtually calorie-free, natural and dental-friendly sugar substitute. Erythritol crystals look similar to sugars or xylitol. The taste is mildly sweet and resembles the sugar most of all sugar alcohols. Erythritol is readily soluble. Erythritol is best tolerated by all sugar alcohols since it is excreted almost completely unchanged.
