The sweetening power of erythritol (E968) corresponds to around 70% of the sweetening power of sugar. Erythritol is a practically calorie-free, natural and tooth-friendly sugar substitute. Erythritol crystals look similar to sugar or xylitol. The taste is mildly sweet and is the most similar to sugar of all sugar alcohols. Erythritol is easily soluble and helps to maintain tooth mineralization when consuming foods/beverages that contain erythritol instead of sugar. Sweetening power: 70% as sweet as sugar.

In Buxtehude, just outside Hamburg, all products are carefully filled by hand into resealable stand-up pouches.
