Glucosamine is an amino sugar that occurs naturally in the human body. The glucosamine HCL is obtained from the shells of shellfish. This product is used both in food supplements for humans and in animal feed.

Recommended intake for humans: 0.5 g daily (about 1/2 teaspoon)
