Arabic gum (E414) is the sap of an African acacia species. It contains widely branched carbohydrate chains that exhibit a slight thickening effect when combined with liquids. Arabic gum is a food additive used as a stabilizer, filler, carrier and occasionally as a thickening agent. It is approved for use in foodstuffs in general and can be found, for example, in confectionery, beer, cake glazes, cream stiffeners and powdered drinks.

Storage: Thanks to our packaging, it can be stored anywhere at room temperature, clean and dry, away from direct sunlight.

Buxtrade GmbH, at that time still under the legal form "GbR", was founded in the summer of 2014 by two young men who wanted to build up a sideline alongside their day-to-day work.

In Buxtehude, just outside Hamburg, all products are carefully filled by hand into resealable stand-up pouches.
