Organic amla powder: Ayurvedic spice from the amalaki berry
Our organic amla powder is made from the light green berries of the amalaki tree (Emblica Officinalis). The Indian gooseberries grow in the low mountains of India, where they have been part of the diet for centuries.
For our organic Amla powder, the Amla fruits are gently dried and then finely ground - without any artificial preservatives, colorants or flavorings. The result is a naturally pure Ayurvedic spice powder that is versatile and easy to use: whether in smoothies, herbal drinks, herbal tea, yoghurt, muesli or as an ingredient in creative recipes.
The Amalaki berry has been valued in the Ayurvedic tradition for centuries. There it is known as Rasayana and is associated with all three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).
