The aronia berry, also known as the chokeberry, looks very similar to the blueberry. However, the flavors of the two berries are quite different: the blueberry tastes sweet, while the aronia berry tastes rather tart and sour. After being harvested, the berries are gently dried to preserve their full-bodied flavor and the high-quality ingredients of the fruit. Aronia berries are ideal for adding to muesli, dairy dishes and baked goods.

Buxtrade GmbH, at that time still under the legal form "GbR", was founded in the summer of 2014 by two young men who wanted to build up a sideline alongside their day-to-day work.

In our broad product portfolio in the areas of sugar substitutes, superfoods, food additives, nutritional supplements, spices, dried fruit & nuts , we offer all products from 100g to wholesale quantities in pallets, depending on requirements from private households to food processing. In Buxtehude, just outside Hamburg, all products are carefully filled by hand into resealable stand-up pouches.
