Organic xylitol
Xylitol tastes similar to normal household sugar and has almost the same sweetening power. It has a cooling effect on the finish and helps to maintain tooth mineralization when consuming foods/beverages that contain erythritol instead of sugar. Xylitol is becoming increasingly popular in the kitchen for cooking and baking, as it replaces sugar almost equally and is made from corn.
Note on intake: Xylitol has a laxative effect if the intake of 0.5 g per kilogram of body weight is exceeded.
