Xylitol tastes similar to regular table sugar and has almost the same sweetening power. It has a cooling effect and helps to maintain tooth mineralization when consuming foods/drinks that contain erythritol instead of sugar. Xylitol is becoming increasingly popular in the kitchen for cooking and baking because it replaces sugar almost equally and is made from corn.

Usage note: Xylitol has a laxative effect if the intake of 0.5 g per kilogram of body weight is exceeded.

About us

Buxtrade GmbH, at that time still under the legal form "GbR", was founded in the summer of 2014 by two young men who wanted to build up a sideline alongside their day-to-day work.

In Buxtehude, just outside Hamburg, all products are carefully filled by hand into resealable stand-up pouches.
