Guar gum is used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, paper and food industry and also as a tobacco additive. So it is for example as an emulsifier (for example ice cream) or natural thickening agent and is also about common ingredient of hair gel. In the EU, guar gum as a food additive (E number 412 ) (also approved for "bio" products) for food in general. Guar gum is about 8x as strong as normal corn starch. It is suitable for: sauces, spice mixes, canned soups, mayonnaise, desserts etc.
